Prashanta Mukherjee

Prashanta Mukherjee, born and brought up in Delhi, and a Kiwi for over 20 years, is a founder-shareholder and Director. He has over 23 years of experience in both private and public sectors globally.

He is the Deputy Chair of India New Zealand Business Council.

He has gained invaluable insight and experience into the post-90's reformed India through his own forays into exporting NZ produce into India, since 2002.

He has served as a Director of a public-private joint venture and is a science graduate (with Honours) from University of Delhi (Gold Medal).

He is an alumnus of the Ernst & Young Darden Executive Programme. He has also completed the New Zealand Marketing Management Programme and the Introduction to Company Directorship (Institute of Directors, NZ) programme.

He worked for NIIT Limited (www.niit.com) and CMC Limited (www.cmcltd.com) in India. In New Zealand, before 2001, he has worked in delivery and management positions at Ernst & Young, IBM and Oracle Corporation. He has been in his own business since 2001.

He has held senior management positions in Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit Management. He has strong Project Management capabilities and a track record in the same.

He has extensive networks in India through his varsity alumni and IT sector networks, many of whom have dispersed across different sectors of the Indian economy.

He has lived in New Zealand since 1989 and has deep knowledge of New Zealand economy and businesses as well as established business networks in major sectors of the New Zealand economy.
