Prashanta elected Deputy Chair of INZBC

Our co-founder and Director Prashanta Mukherjee has been elected as Deputy Chair of the India New Zealand Business Council. The Council is New Zealand’s premier India-NZ business association and a vital source of information and advocacy for closer business relationships between our countries.

INZBC’s members elected a new Executive Committee on 26 May, and India Horizonz extends our congratulations and thanks to members who put their hands up to advance the Council’s work. You can read the announcement of the election results here.

Prashanta welcomes the opportunity to serve the Council and the business community, and is grateful to members for their vote of confidence in his ability to contribute.

His top priorities as Deputy Chair will be to drive development of the Council’s business plan and secure the resources to underpin a strong secretariat capability.

He is also enthusiastic about continuing to expand the membership base and forge partnerships with other business associations (along similar lines to the Council’s recent MoU with Export New Zealand.
